Through our participation and involvement at the CARFEST NORTH events, Cheshire Scouts were approached by the Born Survivor organisers to join in and volunteer at the annual event. This has since spread to Scouts from Lancashire volunteering at the sister event in Lancashire..
In return for volunteering atthe event, Scout Volunteers gain free access to the event to enjoy the fun, mud, promotional stand, mud, musical acts and did we mention mud?. Volunteers are also allowed to camp for free for the duration of the event, camping in a designated area with other staff and volunteers. There is also a meal voucher provided on the day of the event, redeemable at the food stands at the event..
